I feel I should write about this old keyboard that I had, it was my first keyboard, and I thought it was the cat's pajamas. So heavy, so freaking heavy for me to carry around, and it had a function that you could record and playback. The sounds * i think i only used 3 from this beauty -- were all really cool.
I bought it because I was looking for a cheap synth in Austin,Texas. We ran across that one at a local music shop, and done and done, it was mine.

I ended up giving it away to a friend who I played music with when I moved up here to NY, because it was having problems turning on -- He ended up fixing it because he is this super electrician with instruments. I wish I had the capacity to open things up and understand what was going on. I am sloppy with a soldiering iron, and my hands are shaky, so I just assume I would be a bad study for dealing with small boards, and even tinier parts...lol.
I drink a lot of coffee, and have a lot of energy, so I am not the best with the whole putting tiny things together sort of thing...hahaha

I came up with another song idea instead of finishing up a song last weekend. I really hate finishing songs because I feel they get boring if I work on them too much. Its like what appeals to me at the beggining of the process is gone, and then it turns into a headache. I know, i just have to get over it 
Anyways, this song is going to be called Lola 2, I use Imposcar alot! I really don't know what I would do without it. Someday I'll grow out of it, and my stuff will quit sounding so '80's...But not yet!

The Steampunk Home is a wonderful reference for victorian/steam home furnishings and photo shoots. Take the time and look through the posts, I especially like the ideas for wall decals and fixtures. Hopefully Spring will inspire me to decorate the apartment we just moved into here in Williamsburg, and I will look at this site, as well as old Domino magazines for ideas.
